Children’s Playgroup

The purpose of this playgroup is to provide a safe, inclusive environment for children (ages 3-10) to explore their gender identities and spend time around other children who have similar gender histories. Children can look forward to arts and crafts, music, movement, storytelling, and role playing. Children are welcome to present in whatever gender expression feels most comfortable to them. While children are playing downstairs, parents are encouraged to meet with each other on the second floor of our office for a peer-led support group. This time may be used for socializing, discussion and snacking. Each month one parent may volunteer to facilitate the discussion, bringing in a topic of their choice.

This group will meet once a month on Saturdays at 10am for 1.5 hours.

Snacks for the children and parents will be provided by Transformations Psychotherapy for the first meeting.

There is no cost for Transformations Gender Playgroup; however, we do accept donations.

Spaces are limited. Call (512-423-2840) or email Adrienne ( to set up an intake appointment.
